Cebu City: Casa Verde

When I went to Cebu last summer for the Cebu Blog Camp 2011, I did not fail to visit one of my favorite restaurants in Cebu City and that is Casa Verde. Casa Verde restaurant has 3 branches: the main branch in Ramos St., The Walk in IT Park, and at The Ayala Terraces.

I met up with my Cebu-based friends and we decided to have lunch in Casa Verde at The Ayala Terraces since it is also near my friend’s office. Casa Verde restaurant is indeed a great place to catch up, make chikka while enjoying a very comfy ambiance and delicious meal.

The Best Macaroni Bites at Dessert Factory

Last May 28, 2011, I attended the Cebu Blog Camp 2011. Summer was ending already and so CBC2011 was also a great excuse to go to Cebu City before I wrap-up my favorite season. One of the restaurants I visited during that *illegal trip* I had in Cebu early this year was Dessert Factory. It was Leyk and Jeyco who brought me to Dessert Factory during my first visit and I swore to myself that I will really go back the next time I set foot in Cebu again. Dessert Factory is located at the 3rd level of Ayala Terraces.

I know that Dessert Factory is actually known for their desserts, but ironically, I fell inlove with their appetizer called "Macaroni Bites". And oh yes, it's not even a dessert. :)

From the Kitchen of Mel's Cafe

Lara, Leyk and I happen to discover this not-so-new restaurant in Dumaguete City. Mel's Cafe is located at the 2nd floor of the UTH building along Sta. Catalina street. I really don't know why the whole name of the restaurant is "From the Kitchen of Mel's Cafe". Too long to remember, IMHO. Mel's Cafe could've been okay or Kitchen of Mel. HAHA. But let's put that issue aside (because it's really none of my business hehe) and let me show you what this small (but terrible) cafe has to offer. :)

A Birthday Celebration at Mamia's Restaurant

We celebrated Leyk's birthday at Mamia's Restaurant a couple of weeks ago. Mamia's Restaurant is considered to be one of the 'high-class' restaurants of Dumaguete, because... I really don't know (parang head and shoulders commercial lang)! No but seriously, the prices aren't that expensive and there's nothing bizarre with their food actually and the SERVICE is... My gehd, the service! Well perhaps it's their location? (Mamia's Restaurant is situated along the famous Rizal Boulevard of Dumaguete City)

Now In Dumaguete: Potato Twister

I have noticed that Potato Twister stalls are popping out like mushrooms here in Dumaguete City. As of my knowledge, there are three Potato Twister stalls that are up and running for business: one in Cang's Inc. (first level), another one in Lee Plaza (food court), and the one that opened recently, the stall inside Kross Kat (Silliman).
